Her Midnight Stardust Cowboys

Note: While Dante, alpha werewolf, stars as a secondary character in this story, he is one of the main characters in our fictional shapeshifter-supernatural town of Talbot's Peak at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS. In this scene, Dante is admiring the Midnight Stardust Supperclub, his latest addition to the Interspecies Pleasure Club, a massive underground complex he's built as both a business enterprise and for the good of all the Peakites.

Chapter Twenty-three:

Dante's Midnight Stardust Supperclub

"Only my beautiful Kitty is missing," Dante growled quietly out of habit, even though he was alone.

Everyone else had departed, once the finishing touches were put on the newest addition to the Pleasure Club, the Midnight Stardust Supperclub.

Dante imagined his lovely catwoman, Kitty, dressed in an elegant slinky gown, dancing in his arms. Daydreaming, he whirled them over the smooth-as-glass ballroom floor, in time to the swinging and sophisticated music of a big band.

He'd spent days finding the material for the flooring, the rainbow shades of pearl he knew would enchant Kitty, and other women guests.

When Dante first began sketching out the design for the supperclub, he'd had Kitty in mind with each stroke, and with each idea he'd written down. Of course, once he'd finalized the plans, and began to build, the Midnight Stardust had taken on a grand and resplendent life of its own.

Standing in the center of the dance floor, Dante gradually spun around, scanning the interior of the huge geodesic structure that glistened with a subtle, snow-white luminescence. His only regret had been the necessity of keeping the supperclub underground. He'd wanted the romance of dancing and dining beneath a canopy of sparkling stars in an inky sky.

Springtime in the Country Blog Hop

Welcome, y'all. Long ago, I created this blog for my western erotic romances. Finally, I have wonderful reason to git 'er going. That is, the Springtime in the Country Blog Hop ~cowboycharm.blogspot.com~

Beginning with Gene Autry and his horse, Champion, I grew up on a steady diet of TV and Silver Screen Westerns -- from Roy Rogers to The Lone Ranger to Bonanza to Disney's Zorro to Rawhide to Bat Masterson to The Texan, and a whole lot more.

Being a horse lover with no horse, I couldn't resist, not to mention I had growing-up crushes on some of the heroes. And, while I adored the hero cowboys, lawmen, gunslingers, ranchers, and their western adventure worlds, there was always one vital element missing. That is, the HAPPILY EVER AFTER ROMANCE.

Yes, the riding off into the sunset, with no heroine, had to be stopped!

However, given an odd bent to my character, and my over active imagination, I only write in the paranormal subgenres: shapeshifter, futuristic, parallel worlds, fantasy, magick, sci fi, time travel -- or as I think of it: OtherWorlds, OtherTimes, and OtherRealms.

The story, the world building, and the settings of my western erotic romances are a fusion of subgenres. Simply put, and being a headstrong Aries, I enjoy creating my fictional worlds the way I want them -- or the way I envision and create the cultures, the societies  for my heroines and heroes.

I've never had a desire to be limited by anyone else's concept and/or rules. Inspired, yes, always, but not limited.

Of course, it's my heroines and heroes who rule. Their love story is what I love writing the best.
